A Novel Query Efficient Algorithm for Active Covering

Data icon, disabled. Four grey bars arranged like a vertical bar chart.

This research considers the problem of active covering with the goal of the learner sequentially querying a dataset so that all positive examples have been labeled. The classification of data is an important problem that can be used in many models as predictors, for example, the stock market, health and fitness data, customers’ habits, etc. This research will produce a new active covering algorithm based on the S2 algorithm.
