Unraveling Speech Processing in Humans: Insights from Neural Signals
Analyzing neural signals from the Wernicke’s area and the Face Motor Cortex of the human brain during speech to understand language processing. Using a dataset from an epilepsy patient, this research examines correlations between speech perception and production. The study aims to uncover common trends in speech processing, identify speakers, and explore the relationship between the Wernicke’s area and Face Motor Cortex. This study contributes to the comprehension of language, speech disorders, and neurological processes. Future work involves open sourcing the dataset and its relevant findings, along with refining understanding of brain-speech interactions and their clinical implications.
