Optimization of Future Urban Mobility Systems

Urban mobility is a fundamental component to society that is instrumental to its efficiency while enabling its inhabitants. Researching the potential for optimization of these urban mobility systems could lead to answers that solve the complications that plague our current public transportation, such as travel time inefficiencies and general unreliability. Developing a smarter urban mobility system, one utilizing machine learning, artificial intelligence, and vehicle autonomy, creates a solution for weak public transportation. This research aims to evaluate and advance this solution on a transportation system in order to visualize, simulate, and create an optimized future mobility system.
