Multiperiod Transmission Expansion Planning with Load Growth

This research proposes a comprehensive framework for multiperiod transmission expansion planning that considers load growth. The framework integrates both technical and economic aspects of the transmission system and employs optimization techniques to identify the most cost-effective expansion plan. The effectiveness of the proposed framework is tested through different systems. The framework can help transmission planners make informed decisions about the transmission system’s future development.
