Changho Nam
Associate Professor, Engineering, The Polytechnic School
Changho Nam is an associate professor in the Polytechnic School, one of the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. Nam has experience working in the research and development area with the aerospace industry as well as academia. Prior to joining ASU, he was a senior research engineer, Research and Development of Aircraft Agency for Defense and Development, South Korea (1990-1993) and an assistant, then associate professor, with the Department of Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering for Hankuk Aviation University, South Korea (1993-1999). He also served as a senior engineering specialist for ZONA Technology, Inc., Scottsdale, AZ (1999-2000).
Currently, Nam's research focuses on development of nonlinear reduced order aerodynamic/aeroelastic models using a new RMI/ERA. He is a senior member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), a member of the International Society of Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization (ISSMO) and the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).
