Candace Chan
Professor, School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy
Candace K. Chan is an associate professor of materials science and engineering in the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy (SEMTE) at Arizona State University. She came to ASU in Fall 2011, as an assistant professor. She was promoted to associate professor with tenure in 2017. She is also part of the graduate faculty in the chemistry and biochemistry program within the School of Molecular Sciences at ASU.
Chan's research group currently works on synthesis and evaluation of engineered nanomaterials to address critical issues in lithium batteries, electrochemical energy conversion and storage, photocatalysis and water treatment.
